We are expanding our Supply Chain/Procurement team in Knauf Gypsum Georgia and actively looking to recruit new Procurement and Logistics Specialist, who will report to Procurement Manager, Caucasus.

- Can you prepare proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms with suppliers and conditions, research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate with existing suppliers and source out potential new ones.
- Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers according to company requirements.
- Can you purchase orders and execute the purchasing process according to the approved POs?
- Can you follow the process related to the import of goods, coordinate the full cycle?
- Can you coordinate with staff from different departments concerning their needs?
- Can you preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records, complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards?
- Can you inspect and evaluating the quality of purchased items performance and resolve issues and concerns?
- Can you be a member of a successful team?
What you’ll be doing:
You'll be overseeing all aspects of our furnace projects, including:
- Issue purchase orders and execute the purchasing process according to the approved POs.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
- Negotiate with existing suppliers and source out potential new ones.
- Review supplier quotations to ensure accuracy and appropriateness and resolve any related issues.
- Revise the documents for all incoming shipments from the suppliers.
- Follow the process related to the import of goods.
- Coordinate and provide the original shipping documents from the suppliers to financial department, before the vessel arrival.
- Follow-up with the custom clearing agent the clearing of the goods.
- Monitor and coordinate material delivery processes between suppliers to ensure that items are delivered to the warehouse on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
- Maintain and review computerized records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
- Evaluating supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
What we’d love for you to have:
We are interested in you as a person; your attitude, behaviors and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred.
- 2 - 4 years of experience at Manufacturing filed (experience in construction materials or industrial production will be preferred).
- Well experience in purchase spare parts for manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- English: Excellent (speaking and writing).
- Russian: Excellent (speaking and writing).
- Knowledge of logistics systems and processes.
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
- Team player with strong organizational skills.
