Can you legally work in Georgia for Elecrtition?
Can you work on-site in Tbilisi, Samgori District, Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00?
Do you have at least 3 years of experience as an electrician (industrial/plant experience preferred)?
Do you hold an electrical safety clearance of Group III or Group IV and follow all safety procedures?
In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on electrical maintenance and installation at our Tbilisi (Samgori) plant, including:
Disassembling, mid-level repairing, assembling, installing, and aligning electrical machines and devices of various types and power ratings.
Replacing, commissioning, and calibrating measuring/control instruments and transformers in transformer substations and LV distribution boards/switchboards.
Inspecting substations and production equipment, reading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and eliminating faults in power and control circuits.
Servicing power circuits and equipment control circuits, including protection, switching, and signaling apparatus.
Supporting machines and aggregates on production lines and maintaining automation/automatic process control equipment (e.g., PLCs, VFDs, sensors).
Performing rounds, inspections, and preventive maintenance of industrial LV systems up to 1,000 V
Collaborating with production, maintenance, and EHS teams to plan and execute work safely and efficiently.
What we’d love for you to have:Higher education in Electrical Engineering/Automation or a related field
3+ years’ experience as an electrician (industrial/plant environment)
Valid electrical safety clearance: Group III - IV
Hands-on experience with LV systems up to 1,000 V, including 0.4 kV switchgear
Experience with transformer substations and LV distribution boards/switchboards
Ability to disassemble, repair, assemble, install and align electrical machines (e.g., AC motors, pumps, fans, compressors)
Strong troubleshooting of power and control circuits using electrical schematics
Experience with protection, switching and signaling devices
Use of electrical test instruments (multimeter, insulation tester/megger, clamp meter) with proper documentation of results
Preventive maintenance, rounds/inspections and fault elimination on plant equipment
Strict adherence to EHS procedures (e.g., lockout/tagout, permit-to-work, PPE)
Experience supporting brownfield modifications and/or greenfield installations
Ability to coordinate/mentor technicians during maintenance or small installations
Basic skills in alignment/centering of rotating equipment (dial indicator/laser)
English or Russian language proficiency (at least Intermediate)
Strong personal attributes: responsibility, analytical thinking, fast problem-solving, discipline
Effective teamwork and stakeholder communication (production, maintenance, EHS)
